With its witty commentary and slick direction this series often makes Modern Art more pallet able than it actually is. Unlike Simon Schama’s rather drab ‘Power of Art’ (2006), Matthew Collings’ series actually succeeds because of his witty and often ironic delivery. rnrnThis 50min documentary was originally recorded on a mono VHS recorder, so the stereo sound is a duplicated mono track.rnrnEnjoyrnrnrnTORRENT SHARING MANIFESTOrnrnThose that regularly upload interesting and obscure torrent material are aware of the struggle to keep those seeds alive for future down-loaders. The problem is there’s never enough bandwidth for the original seeder to continue seeding all of their uploads. Therefore, original seeders are reliant on FANS to keep their torrents alive. Put simply, torrents are kept alive by the fans that have completed and KEEP ACTIVE A SELECT NUMBER of their favourite torrents.rnrnUnless you have amazing bandwidth: it’s better to seed around 10 torrents at a time, rather than leaving all of your completed torrents uploading. This will prevent dribbling the material back into the torrent community.rnrnThere’s really only three ways to deal with completed torrent downloads:rn- If a torrent is TERRIBLE then just delete it, so others aren’t encouraged to waste their time and bandwidth.rnrn- If a torrent is GOOD, at the very least, continue to seed it until your share ratio for this torrent reaches 1.0. Beyond this: try stopping the torrent, but not deleting it, once there’s a good quantity of seeds (for obscure, non-mainstream torrents; 5 or more seeders is good). If you restart the torrent every few days, you can then choose to continue seeding if there are only a few seeds online.
