Encoded at 64kbps, this sounds like it was encoded at 20kbps, like low bit rate internet radio. • Ok, it's great that you've made this book available here but the sound is just not good enough that I'd like to spend 12 hours with it. People: please, please, rip the audio books with a higher (128kbps++) bit rate! Why treat the spoken word like chopped liver? • Good audio quality, dl comes with .aa formatting instructions considering that it is so hard to come by on the net (this is an mp3 however, already converted). About the Author:
Khaled Hosseini was born in Kabul, Afghanistan and moved to the United States in 1980. His first novel, The Kite Runner, was an international bestseller, published in 34 countries. In 2006 he received the Humanitarian Award from the United Nations Refugee Agency and was named a U.S. goodwill envoy to that agency.
