Comments (3): does any1 kno if this is the real thing? • This is the best adaption of the book -- far better than the 1999 version -- although the ending still varies slightly from the book. After the film had been done, it was later disclosed that it was funded by the CIA as anti-communist propaganda. Still a good film though.
