A downloads is the number of how many times the torrent has been downloaded according to its tracker record
A seeder is a peer that has a complete copy of the torrent and still offers it for upload. The more seeders there are, the better the chances are for completion of the file
A leech is usually a peer who has a negative effect on the swarm by having a very poor share ratio - in other words, downloading much more than they upload. Most leeches are users on asymmetric internet connections who do not leave their BitTorrent client open to seed the file after their download has completed. However, some leeches intentionally avoid uploading by using modified clients or excessively limiting their upload speed. The term leech, however, can be used simply to describe a peer - or any client that does not have 100% of the data
A peer is one instance of a BitTorrent client running on a computer on the Internet that other clients connect to and transfer data. Usually a peer does not have the complete file, but only parts of it, however, peer can be used to refer to any participant in the swarm (in this case, also known as a client). Note that the colloquial definition of peer is anybody, leech or seed, involved in a torrent
A health (or avaiability) the number of full copies of the file available to the client. Each seeder adds 1.0 to this number, as they have one complete copy of the file. A connected peer with a fraction of the file available adds that fraction to the availability, if no other peer has this part of the file. (ie. a peer with 65.3% of the file downloaded increases the availability by 0.653, when two peers who both have the same 50% of the file downloaded and there is one seeder the availability is 1.5)

I use classic on occasion... You know who the real idiot is though? The guy that surfs for torrent that he obviously doesn't want and leaves dumbass comments.
Many Thanks for the upload.. I have an intelmac now as my main machine but still have a G4 867mhz and G3 imac.. I don't need the installer due to ripping it off of an emac install dvd using pacifist to show hidden installer images.. I found it as classic.dmg on that disc, but for the people that don't know what to do... Thank blamface for the upload.
I've never heard of Pacifist. The way I got this was by dragging the CD icon into Firefox. This let me explore the hidden directories on the CD until I found "Classic.dmg", which of course installs Classic.
Oh, the CD I was referring to in the above post was an iBook G4 system software CD. Of course, an eMac CD, or any system software CD with Classic on it, will have the Classic installer. The trick is finding it!
Yeah flashG u're right u discovered mac a month ago to say that right ?
Thx for sharing that, classic mode is a legend ! Hope to hear soon sounds from the good ol' times ;) and I won't have to run my Quadra 630 for !
To look around your CD-ROM, you better need to use the terminal than using Firefox for searching for .dmg and anything else..
And generaly, if "/" is the root of your CDROM (that is generaly never the case, it's more like "/Volumes/Mac OS X Install" but it's for simplicity) you will find the System installation packages on "/System/Installation/Packages" and additional packages are in "/.images/" for a 10.3 or "/System/Installation/Packages/.packages/" for 10.4 disk.
For example, my iBook G4 sold with 10.3 the real folders are :
/Volumes/iBook\ Software/
/System/Installation/Packages
/Volumes/iBook\ Software/.images/
and my Macbook pro 10.4 DVD are :
/Volumes/Mac OS X Install Disc 1/System/Installation/Packages/
and
/Volumes/Mac OS X Install Disc 1/System/Installation/Packages/.packages/
By the way Classic is always bundled with PowerPC Macintosh so if you have a PPC mac, just insert the original installation DVD that come with (even if it's an older version of Mac OS, it's doesn't matter) and use the "Install additional software" it will let you to install Classic.
hey, thanks alot for this download :)
I have 100% now, and the readme says:
"Open the virtual disk and copy all of the enclosed folders to your ROOT directory (NOT your user directory!)."
I know this is gonna sound very stupid, but where is the ROOT directory?
....... dont hate me for being ignorant :p
For people who wonder where the ROOT directory is... open Finder and click the icon that represents your hard drive. You are now looking at the root directory. There are typically four non-hidden folders here: Applications, Library, System, and Users. Copy the contents of the Classic.dmg archive into this directory so that they sit among these other four folders. Now you should be able to start Classic from within System Preferences. Good luck!
the real idiot here is ofcourse flashG, thank you som uch for this upload blamface, i have a ppc max but did not recive a disc with classic on it. now i can play alpha centauri! yay!
