A downloads is the number of how many times the torrent has been downloaded according to its tracker record
A seeder is a peer that has a complete copy of the torrent and still offers it for upload. The more seeders there are, the better the chances are for completion of the file
A leech is usually a peer who has a negative effect on the swarm by having a very poor share ratio - in other words, downloading much more than they upload. Most leeches are users on asymmetric internet connections who do not leave their BitTorrent client open to seed the file after their download has completed. However, some leeches intentionally avoid uploading by using modified clients or excessively limiting their upload speed. The term leech, however, can be used simply to describe a peer - or any client that does not have 100% of the data
A peer is one instance of a BitTorrent client running on a computer on the Internet that other clients connect to and transfer data. Usually a peer does not have the complete file, but only parts of it, however, peer can be used to refer to any participant in the swarm (in this case, also known as a client). Note that the colloquial definition of peer is anybody, leech or seed, involved in a torrent
A health (or avaiability) the number of full copies of the file available to the client. Each seeder adds 1.0 to this number, as they have one complete copy of the file. A connected peer with a fraction of the file available adds that fraction to the availability, if no other peer has this part of the file. (ie. a peer with 65.3% of the file downloaded increases the availability by 0.653, when two peers who both have the same 50% of the file downloaded and there is one seeder the availability is 1.5)

Requiem is an open source program that will strip the DRM from your iTunes music and video files. While people have found other ways around the DRM, such as burning their music and ripping it, that will lose sound quality. That's where this program comes in - it not only removes the DRM from music AND videos, it does so losslessly.
All purchased video files [excluding rentals, sorry] such as the older videos can be decrypted. You must be running iTunes version 7.6.2 to 7.7.1 and be authorized to play the content you want decrypted.
You'll need to install Java (http://www.java.com/getjava/) if you want to use the the Java GUI that is included that can be used on both Windows and Mac platforms. Just double click on the Requiem.jar file and the GUI will come up.
(However, for Mac users, I would recommend the RequiemDroplet.app because it is easier to use because of the Drag & Drop feature.)

Three last notes to end on:
1. Do NOT share your de-DRM'd iTunes purchases on a file-sharing network. Why? Apple has personal information in your purchased content. Requiem does not remove the personal information from your files. Your identity is at stake and Apple could ban your account (at the very least) if caught. (I, OompahLoompah108, have no control of this feature in Requiem, I am just the uploader, not the developer.)

REQUEST: If the developer reads this, please add support for iTMS Audiobook files (*.m4b) to RequiemDroplet.app. They're protected just like the other files, but the droplet doesn't recognize that. Renaming them to *.m4p allows them to be unwrapped, so I think it's a matter of just making the droplet aware of the .m4b file extension?
@mrabuse, yeah, .m4b files are just the same type of encrypted AAC audio in an MP4 container. Apple just uses the .m4b extension to enable a few of the audio book features in iTunes and on iPods.
Works great, but I have to run the GUI from the command prompt. If your computer doesn't launch it when you click on it, open the command prompt by right-clicking on the requiem-1.7.4 folder and select Command Prompt (at least in XP SP3).
Type in the following: java -jar Requiem.jar

Excellent! Spent a weekend trying to fix a buddy's inability to move files from iTunes to iPod. The only thing I can find is the Fairplay listed files refuse to transfer, while non-Fairplay files purchased on the same day do xfer. Of course, Apple wants me to deauth/reauth the desktop. Like I didn't try that first! Anyway, this little program works great and works fast. You can bet that I'll leave it seeding forever.
Does not work with iTunes 8. Stick with iTunes 7 for now.

More interesting info:
If you open the .m4a file (which is the DRMless version) in a hex editor, you can see some of your personal info such as your name and email.
Filling these with random bytes won't hurt the file at all, but I'm not sure if there's more info within the file (such as an account number) to identify you as the purchaser. But you can at least hide your name and email.
Also, still not new info on a requiem for itunes 8.0, but I'm checking the freenet page often.
I ran this on iTunes8-bought protected files on Linux with wine and iTunes 7. Lo and Behold: it decrypted.
