1st things 1st, this is the real thing. But beware... this version has tons and tons of bugs AND it has a huge list of software which isn't compatible with McAfee2007. Programs like ZoneAlarm and Lavasoft Ad-Aware must be uninstalled first before McAfee continues it's own install. A patch has been released by McAfee which solves some bugs and the incompatibility issue, but to get this you have to install McAfee first (hence uninstall the conflicting programs :S). I'm sticking with the 2006-version until I find a decent replacement from Trend, NOD32 or Kaspersky. Way to go McAfee, It's been fun while it lasted x(

there is no virus in this program, it works fine, install it then uninstall everything except virus scanner and firewall within it... this will use less resources and allow you to use other programs!!(also get better ram then it will be fine!!)

thanks to the original uploader. well it does use up a lot of resources but better than norton, zonealarm causes problem with browsing and with messengers. good torrent.cheers shafi

works nice, I like how it tells you the amount of pop ups on a site b 4 you click the link, only thing i really really hate that made me uninstall it is I use AOL a lot and this mcafee is not compatible with any aol when it comes to using the aol internal browser or being able to see pics in emails.

part 2 from the comment directly above.....aha i fixed it, i uninstalled the privacy manager, the data backup thingie and the other thing, I left the virus scan, the firewall and the best feature of the new mcafee the site advisor and i can use my aol, I guess it was somethign with the privacy manager that blocks aol email pics and using it's internal browser

This problem is probably the firewall blocking the internet loading go into the firewall and see if it allows the internet to run if not reinstall the program

i just uninstalled this and my pc runs so much faster, too bad this mcafee can't allow anyone to have it installed and enabled while maintaining the performance you get when it's not even installed. It's so nice opening IE now, it opens in a flash, with this mcafee installed theres a 2 second delay and when yur power surfing it's very annoying. Good prog, but uses too many resources, way too many.
