This is wonderful ... but I am also having trouble rewriting the Proof.xml file. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated ... :)

Scratch that -- I figured it out. Kept getting 'invalid path' messages, so I saved the rewritten XML file in a different location, then copied and pasted it into the Proof.en folder. Worked like a charm. Thank you!!

erm... on the next day, office all went blocked. I did nothing about preferences or somenting. Probably Microsoft updated the file from that link

I'm writing the exact path : C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE12\Office Setup Controller\Proof.en It's better to see exactly what are you going to do because in my browser the path seems like Egyptian language

Also, for anyone using Windows XP Pro 64bit edition , the directory is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE12\Office Setup Controller\Proof.en I assume this also works with all the other 64-bit systems too, but I can't verify that.
