to use this soft ware you NEED to have hardware in your computer made be Digidesigns OR M-Audio! with out the hardware ware it wont work....

I have M-Audio hardware (external) and I still can't get this install to work. I dl'd ProTools 6.7 LE as per the instructions with this file, and I can't get past the aforementioned digidesign hardware prompt. Any help?

I downloaded this software, and then went out and bought an m-audio interface. I followed the instructions, and for the life of me cannot get this to work. One question I do have that might help me is. I noticed two sets of instructions. Which one do you follow.1#(pro tools m-audio crack instructions FIXED).....or......2#(pro tools m-audio crack instructions). In my opionion I think this download is bunk, but would like a 2nd opinion... Thanks

i wish i read the mesages before i downloaded and wasted my time. it appears either there's somethin missing here or this kid just likes watching ppl waste time + suffer. let me know if you get it to work cause i'm pretty confident i was doing everything corectly.

when you purchase the digidesign software (yep, you actually gotta purchase this one), it comes with a USB key. i don't know which order it looks in, but basically after it finds a compatible audio interface (i.e. an approved M-Audio card and the list of those are on www.m-audio.com) then it searches for the USB key. in the past, ProTools was only released with digidesign hardware like the MBox or digi001 or digi002, but since digidesign owns M-Audio... they probably figured they could squeeze out $249 from people who wanted to use ProTools but weren't willing to pay $400. instead, they'd be playing more like $350 since they had to also purchase their M-Audio card.

You´d have to go visit M-audio's website, to first check if your m-audio hardware is campatible, if so, you may have to download and update your drivers. That is, if your computer if compatible. It has rather high system requierments...

Southgrove Dont install DIGI drivers in ProTools 6.7 LE installer. Choose personal installation and uncheck DIGI DRIVERS. ProTools M-powered works ONLY WITH M-AUDIO CARDS!!!
