A connected peer with a fraction of the file available adds that fraction to the availability, if no other peer has this part of the file. (ie. a peer with 65.3% of the file downloaded increases the availability by 0.653, when two peers who both have the same 50% of the file downloaded and there is one seeder the availability is 1.5)

I FIRST DOWNLOADED THE TRIAL VERSION ON SONY VEGAS TO SEE HOW I LIKED IT.... NOW THAT I AM TRYING TO INSTALL THE FULL VERSION ON VISTA... IT LOADS UP A WHITE SCREEN... CAN ANYONE HELP ME TO CLEAR ANY HIDDIN FILES THAT IS STOPPING THE PROGRAM FROM RUNNING

Mathematically it is safe.
The chances of you getting caught by Sony Vegas for Activating a copy of a corporate edition that isn't yours is VERY untangible.
If you're really worried, don't use it. Putting false information in the activation does you no good as they will be logging your IP first and foremost.
