    hey dude where's the stata.lic file its the licence file , you cannot run unless you have the licence file ,the cd keys keys dont work either coz of the dam file is missing

    I'm fairly sure, when mounted, the ISO will load a partition for OS X computers. If not, I've recently uploaded a .dmg of this CD. IF YOU HAVE A OS X SERIAL, PLEASE POST IT. THANKS!

    Ok, further to the post above, I've found the readme and the serial numbers, but after I put them in it says "I could not open C:\Program Files\Stata10\STATA.LIC for writing, no action taken. Then it says it can find stata.lic again. Is there something I'm missing?

    installed perfectly, except for one weird quirk. in the midst of doing analysis, stata will unexpectedly drop one variable, without notice or record. this flaw has also been noted here <a href="/redirect?http://www.stata.com/statalist/archive/2008-08/msg01126.html">http://www.stata.com/statalist/archive/2008-08/msg01126.html</a> I'm reasonably sure this is an attempt by stata to make pirated versions inoperable. or is this something i've screwed up in installation? how do other users of pirated versions manage to stop this problem?

    Yep right after Stata did it's second auto update it started to randomly drop variables....... Back to Stata 9 for me..... At least I own that
