I have a ramdisk setup and I'm using it for most firefox downloads and the temporary internet files.
also f.Ex when I convert mp3 files, I use the ramdisk, which increases the speed a lot and also it means my HARDDISK is not used for any useless temporary files which will even cause fragmentation.
