Infernal is a Danish dance band, which made their national debut in 1997 with the release of the 'Sorti de L'enfer' single. They are currently the biggest and most famous Danish dance band in the world. Infernal originally comprised of Lina Rafn, Paw Lagermann and Søren Haahr, but Søren left the group in 2000. They developed an experimental song style and successful blend of unusual music genres and club music. An example of this is their smashhit 'Kalinka' which is founded on the Russian Drobushki folk melody. In recent years they have turned to more songwriting and they have gone from club to dance pop. Their most successful single was 'From Paris To Berlin', a version of which was released in the UK as 'From London To Berlin', promoting England's place in the 2006 Football World Cup in addition to the original single. 'From Paris To Berlin' is the third studio album [and fifth album] by the Danish dance duo Infernal consisting of Paw Lagermann and Lina Rafn, officially released in 2004 in Denmark. It was released via labels Border Breaks and Ultra Records. An international edition of the album was also released on September 6th 2005 for the European countries.
