This release is fine. I checked all songs and it sounds good. The volume is fine and there is no skipping. I think a lot of the problems people may have with the other releases (I choose this one because of all the reported problems with the others) is really the fact that the tracks are recorded in VBR which is not supported (or not supported correctly by many) by many players. I used winamp 5.35 to listen to it and it was fine. If you are an Iron and Wine fan i suggest you purchase the CD. In doing so you will support the group as they deserve and the quality will be unmatched.

@cRYOa : in most cases, buying a bands CD isn't much for support. Record companies get most of the profit from an artist, and unless they're going multi-platinum and selling millions and millions of copies, they're not making much. The majority of the profit is from Touring and Merchandise. This isn't true for all bands, and I'm unfamiliar with I&W's record labels policies, but it is true to most, and to all bands with major record labels.

you need winrar or winzip to open. just put winrar or winzip in the search box and download a cracked version. You will need this as lots of files you're gonna download will be compressed.

Who wouldn't want to support an Artist like SAM BEAM(Iron & Wine), buy his music!! he deserves it much much more than any of the mainstream **** "artists" that people listen to these days. This is truly a gem, and I encourage you to buy more of his music.
