hate to bust your bubble but every beatles album has already been uploaded at high quality MP3 bit rates and has a lot more seeders: http://thepiratebay.org/tor/3664488/The_Ultimate_BEATLES_Torrent_(Complete_Discography_-_MP3)

Oh wow. thanks for pointing that out to me! I missed it entirely! How could I be so thoughtless? Consider my bubble busted. Sometimes peeps may just need one album tho and not want to waste their bandwidth and time downloading 3 or 4 gigs to get the one they need. The quality of this rip seems to be the same as the one you have an interest in. 320 and mp3...hmmm Oh and in the future, if anything I post bothers you, just ignore it.

for your info, torrent clients such as Azureus can download only certain files from a torrent, thus not needing to download the whole 3 gigs.

I appreciate your efforts at schooling me on the finer points of torrents, and I'm sure I still have a lot to learn, however there are some drawbacks to "selective downloading". This from bittorrents FAQ, "In general, selective downloading is not a good thing for the overall health of a torrent. By downloading only parts of a torrent, the efficiency of the overall swarm of seeds and peers is affected. As some pieces become less available, it's harder for peers looking for those files to find them". So while your client may allow "selective downloading", it may in fact be negatively affecting others and actually result in overall degradation and availability of the original torrent. While I'm sure these torrents will not have the life of "Ultimate" nor be downloaded near as much, I did notice that seeders were as high as 60 to a 100 on all of the Beatles albums I posted. So obviously some people found them helpful. There is a place for all types of downloads. I'm not really wanting to get in a pissing contest w/ you and I don't even care what your motivation was for your original comment. You post what you desire and I'll do the same. So lets put our dicks away and I hope that I upload something you find desirable or helpful.

dude I wasnt trying to be insulting. ill keep quiet. its nice that you upload 320kbps. a lot of blokes on this site upload 128kbps which i think is pointless - unless of course one doesn't care about quality. but everything here is free so one cant complain. what other classic rock you got?

cool. Stay tuned for more exciting oldies.

Thanks dude! Now I have "The Complete Ultimate Collection" :) This one was the only one missing

Thanks for uploading the single album at good quality. Thanks also for responding appropriately and with a subdued class to the flame. I think the original flame may have been posted in haste and possibly under influence of mood-altering substances. ;-) Thanks also to the original flamer for backing off with style. Nice society we have here. Too bad the rest of the world can't behave with as much sanity. :-\

I agree 100% with bhobson333! One reason, in my case, is that I'm still on dialup (56kps.!). Plus, I don't always want (or need) an entire collection just because I can get it. So, thanks, rubyspot, for giving me exactly what I wanted (for a change)! How often in life do we get *that*?!(wish my girlfriend was more like you!) CHEERS TO ALL!!!!

Thx to all you guys that gave me support on these uploads. I have a vast music library going back to the early sixties. I kinda layed off posting for a while but I'll see if I can find some time to digitize and upload some "new oldies" shortly. Again, thx to all who have seeded and supported these. ruby
