Damn! This album truly is one of the best that the Wu has put out. The album builds up slowly in the first three tracks, and then when Rushing Elephant's hit, it's in full effect. It's got a few commercial sounding tracks in The Heart Gently Weeps, Wolves and Stick me for My Riches, but it also has a lot of great deep cuts. My personal favorite track is Windmill, with a dope beat, and some of the sickest rhymes in rap today. Also, Sunlight, which features only the Rza on the mic, is another excellent track. The song Weak Spot is reminds me of the days of the 36 Chambers, and you cannot forget the O.D.B. tribute, Life Changes, which is certain to move a grown man to tears. The raw emotion of that track flows from your speakers and speaks to your heart. A few notable artists featured are George Clinton on Wolves, and Erykah Badu, John Frusciante and Dhanni Harrison (son of the late, great Beatle, George Harrison) on the track The Heart Gently Weeps. Finally, the Rza has out done himself as far as the beats go, as you can tell he is evolving as an artist. Especially in the light of his recent sound track work for Kill Bill and Afro Samurai (both awesome sound tracks.) Not only is this album highly reccomended, but it is the best Hip Hop I have heard in a LONG time. Forget Hyphy, forget Crunk, forget 50 and all that junk. Wu-Tang Clan lives forever.
