Comments (2): it took some time but i finally got this to work i followed the instructions but first the mfi multiloader does not work when started from the desktop so start it from the c:\MML folder.....hold on before you start the mfi multiloader in that same folder u will see BbDevMgr.exe run it first you may get an error or nothing may happen this is important for the device to connect to the multiloader ..now start the mfi loader and wait until it completes.When its done disconnect your phone and type start wait until its finish and you should see jvm error connect back to you pc and go to c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader and u should see loader.exe run it and when its finished connect to the internet open desktop manager and reinstall device software..congrats your bb is unlocked it work with my 8310.......dont forget to follow preperation instructions • cant work it out, has anybody? say somethin

Not sure if that was the matter though. Now, after the whole process completed, is there a way to confirm if the BB was unlocked, if there is no other SIM card available? • Has anybody succeeded doing this with BB desktop manager 5.0? When I open up MFI MultiLoader, it just says "Connect a device to begin", even though BDM50 says it's connected. • Thanks, mDRagON and all that contributed to this. Where is the MFI Setup file located on the net? • So am I missing something? Unlock Storm? GSM? The Storm is CDMA. How can you unlock CDMA with GSM software.
