Comments (116): OK - this movie is what I would class family/adventure. I personally think a teenager would find this movie a little beneath them but my two pre-teens thought it was amazing and recommend it to their friends. It is essentially about two kids who befriend each other. One has an amazingly active imagination and has created an imaginary/fantasy land called 'Terabithia' to help ease her boredom and help her escape from reality. To access Terabithia you have to cross a 'bridge' which which is, off memory, a fallen tree that spans over a creek. The two kids regularly get together and have adventures in Terabithia. Yes, there is are some sad parts of the film (see bambi's mother dying, dumbo being picked on because of his large ears and so on) but there is also adventure, some nail-biting moments (for kids) and a happy ending. I would recommend checking out what IMDB has to say about it if you're unsure but I recommend this movie for family viewing in the primary school and pre-teen age group. As for the dow
