Zijn komst valt echter niet in goede aarde en Will wordt aan het werk gezet op een boerderij. Hij raakt bevriend met Sterlings eigenzinnige dochter Kate, en de twee besluiten samen te werken om de geheimen van hun familie boven water te halen. Will wil zich ondertussen klaar maken voor het gevecht en de afrekening met de draak die zijn vader doodde.
