Mel performs reminiscently of Eastwood in later years. Good action sequences and NO hostage scene(s) that seem to be mandatory in all post ?Iran Hostage? era TV and movie productions. No ubiquitous (well, one short one) car chase scenes either. Maybe there ARE some screenwriters who don?t use old hackneyed story templates. Lets have more !
