Microsoft Streets & Trips 2007 with 2009 Map Data will crash if you attempt "Avoid Area" in the "Route" tab. Avoid Area is a great feature, which apparently, no one uses. To fix this, replace the existing 2DMgr100.dll file (from Streets & Trips 2009) with this 2DMgr100.dll (original from Streets & Trips 2007). The default installation location of the “2DMgr100.dll” file is: C:Program FilesMicrosoft Streets & Trips2DMgr100.dll Replace the file and you're done.
