You're confusing 1080p with 1080i, the latter of which shows motion artifacts due to its interlacing. 1080p doesn't do that. • Updated VLC, picture works now but won't actually play - the progress bar at the bottom won't move, etc. Maybe this computer is just too old and slow. • Apparently I am the only one having this issue, but when I play this in VLC the screen is completely black after the first few seconds with the intro.
