Dégo?té de sa vie de livreur de pizza du XX?me si?cle, Fry est plut?t ravi de devenir livreur de colis de l'an 3000. Embauché par le professeur Farnsworth, un savant compl?tement sénile et g?teux, il rejoint une équipe de braas cassés menés par l'étrange cyclope Leela, seule membre vivante de son esp?ce, capitaine du vaisseau de livraisons; Amy Wong, riche hériti?re toujours en rose; le professeur Zoidberg, sorte de clochard extraterrestre dont la race est responsable de l'extinction des anchois terriens.



Il y a aussi Bender, un robot malhonn?te au possible, voleur, menteur, tricheur, jamais en reste pour faire les 400 coups, boire un pack de bi?res et regarder la télé pendant des heures avec Fry ou aller se rafraichir les idées dans un club de striptease. Sans oublier Hermes, le seul gars un peu sérieux (mais complexé) de la bande.



Tout en faisant leurs livraisons, cette équipage devra affronter tout un tas de catastrophes et de dangers; et que ce soit au fond de l'espace ou sur terre, le résultat est toujours désatreux et hilarant.



Les clins d'oeil (et il y en a!!) sont absolument magnifiques, l'humour va bien ? cette série et c'est un vrai plaisir que de retrouver Matt Groening. Bon entendons nous bien, ca n'est pas aussi bien que les Simpsons (comment ca le pourrait!?) mais c'est une tr?s tr?s bonne série, toujours surprenante, et les personnages sont horriblement sadiques et psychotiques! Bref, en digne hériti?re des Simpsons, c'est une série qui déchire.
