Note that the colloquial definition of peer is anybody, leech or seed, involved in a torrent
A health (or avaiability) the number of full copies of the file available to the client. Each seeder adds 1.0 to this number, as they have one complete copy of the file. A connected peer with a fraction of the file available adds that fraction to the availability, if no other peer has this part of the file. (ie. a peer with 65.3% of the file downloaded increases the availability by 0.653, when two peers who both have the same 50% of the file downloaded and there is one seeder the availability is 1.5)

Re-Release of other peoples great work. I take no credit for this, I just compiled it to help out others who are having problems.
To install:
1. Mount Civ 4.ISO and install
2. DO NOT START THE GAME OR COPY THE SUPPLIED CRACK
3. Update to 1.61 using the supplied update (or go download it from the official website)
4. UNRAR and mount CIV 4 Warlords.iso
5. Install
6. Go to /CRACK folder on disk and copy over the Civ4.exe in the installed directory.
7. Play the game
8. One note, do not try the OTTOMAN Empire. Game will Crash Every single time.
Do the install in the this order and the game will work fine for you. It did for me.
Has anybody got this game to work?
I seem to get stuck on point 4.

The only .RAR archive has a .bin and a .cue file and nothing else. Certainly no expansion pack .iso file.

Has anyone actually got this game to work, i've dl'd and tried to install but keep getting a message to insert the cd!?!?
I'm sure its the way I have installed but i followed all the proceedures listed.
Help plz i'm gagging to give this game a go.

anybody got a version to work yet ive tried loads, install fine but you always get the please insert cd message
Allright, I got to the last step, "6. Go to /CRACK folder on disk and copy over the Civ4.exe in the installed directory" and I don't know where to find the Civ4.exe file to overwrite. On a Windows OS where do I find the "installed directory?"

I overwrote that file and all I get is an error message saying that civ 4 has generated errors and will be closed by windows. I tried uninstalling all of the files and starting over again, but it still didn't work. The only other problem I can think of is the program I'm using to mount the civ4 files. I'm using Daemon. Is that the same one you're using?
The programs I'm using from start to finish are:
Azureus (torrent dl)
Daemon (mount and instal civ4)
Winrar (execute the 1.61 patch)
Unrar (extracting the warlords files)
Daemon (mount the warlords file, and instal it)
Winrar (to find the /crack folder and copy the file)
My Computer (to bring up c:\program files\Firaxix games\civ4\civilization4.exe
If you did anything differently please let me know.

you need winrar software you can get it from btmon. simple enough.lol
Hi. I have a problem whit "6. Go to /CRACK folder on disk and copy over the Civ4.exe in the installed directory". Where is CRACK folder? I cann find him in this torrent or i be in the wrong?
Winrar "Civ_4_Patch_1.61.zip" and give me :
1.Civ4Patch1.61.exe
2.Readme.htm
NO CRACK.

works perfect thx just open the nfo with notepad follow instuctions to install, NOTE: when you copy the crack to the main dir. make sure that you create a shortcut to your desktop with NEW exe. then get rid of the shortcut that it put on your desktop when you installed...hope this helps... thx again will seed

The warlords file is in the folder next to Civ4.iso. With WINRAR to extract the .bin and then mount it.

Im having trouble with this step aswell i assume u mean the Civilization.IV.Warlords.Expansion-RELOADED folder were there are multiply files when extracting i got a bin and a cue when trying to place in virtual player it would only let me put the cue and not the bin. Please help.
