A downloads is the number of how many times the torrent has been downloaded according to its tracker record
A seeder is a peer that has a complete copy of the torrent and still offers it for upload. The more seeders there are, the better the chances are for completion of the file
A leech is usually a peer who has a negative effect on the swarm by having a very poor share ratio - in other words, downloading much more than they upload. Most leeches are users on asymmetric internet connections who do not leave their BitTorrent client open to seed the file after their download has completed. However, some leeches intentionally avoid uploading by using modified clients or excessively limiting their upload speed. The term leech, however, can be used simply to describe a peer - or any client that does not have 100% of the data
A peer is one instance of a BitTorrent client running on a computer on the Internet that other clients connect to and transfer data. Usually a peer does not have the complete file, but only parts of it, however, peer can be used to refer to any participant in the swarm (in this case, also known as a client). Note that the colloquial definition of peer is anybody, leech or seed, involved in a torrent
A health (or avaiability) the number of full copies of the file available to the client. Each seeder adds 1.0 to this number, as they have one complete copy of the file. A connected peer with a fraction of the file available adds that fraction to the availability, if no other peer has this part of the file. (ie. a peer with 65.3% of the file downloaded increases the availability by 0.653, when two peers who both have the same 50% of the file downloaded and there is one seeder the availability is 1.5)

Direct HTTP Download - download this torrent as a regular HTTP file using Furk.net servers as an accelerated proxy.
Note: Unlike other torrent indexes we find more trackers for a torrent and put them sorted by seeders into the torrent upon every download. This should improve download speed. Extra trackers marked with '+' sign. If you have problems with this then let us know.
"put them in insecure places like their PDA or personal organiser that are vulnerable to spyware and malware,' DeMarines said."WHAT?¿ There is a minuscule amount of malware coded for palm os and windows ce.
I try to make my passwords as long as possible but they're probably easily crackable. They usually average around 15 characters but as I sed, they're probably easily crackable if you have a clue or something.
My thought was to develop a master password server that users could use for free, but that companies would have to pay for access to these passwords. I guess in order to make businesses pay for it, you'd have to make a law, like the patriot act that would force businesses to use it for national security.
So these people are so worried about people having too many passwords and storing them on pdas? now i understand that on the side of the screens is bad, but who fucking cares about this lame ass shit news. if you make one master password for everything, once somebody finds it out theyll have absolute access. why dont these crybabies suck it up and just learn to memorize a handful of passwords. its not like its that difficult of a task. just shows what type of lame ass fuck users IT has.
QUOTE: See Quoted Post BelowThere is only one, semi-simple solution: biometrics. Then I could just cut off one of your fingers or cut out your eye, and I would be in. :)
lol yep for every solution there is a problem so u have to mix a bit of all solutions that work, like say use biometrics, and password and voicing (if needed) that would take a while 2 crack but hey it's better than any of those alone.
QUOTE: See Quoted Post BelowThen I could just cut off one your fingers or cut out your eye, and I would be in. :)Biometrics that use finger shape instead of finger printing require the finger to be alive. Stops at least that problem.Automatic teller machines in Swaziland of all places are going to going to use such biometrics soon to replace pin numbers.
It doesn't help that you have to change your password every 90 days, then that new password cannot contain more than 3 characters from the last password, then the new password must contain at least one alpha plus one numeric, then one of those alpha's must be in a different case. It's crap like this that forces people to write down passwords, since it's foolish to use the same password for all systems.
I use OneTouch from http://www.trinitibiometrics.com for my PCs and laptop. They use advanced optical biometrics with several additional security features in place to eliminate problems like you mentioned. Some of you watch too much TV! Not only does OneTouch allow me to access my PCs, it also allows me to access certain applications with my finger. I can access ALL websites that require passwords, like the TorrentSpy site and PayPal, with the touch of a finger without typing the URL in the browser. This feature alone is priceless! Also you can encrypt and decrypt files with the touch of a finger to keep private files private to a whole new level. And of course, I love the way It blows people away when I use it in public! Check it out.
There's a pc versionhttp://keepass.sourceforge.net/and a pocket pc versionhttp://keepass.net/index.php?newsBoth keep your passwords secure, encrypted, and easily available!!!
