iainac11, Don't have a MAC, using a PC, but the methods should still be the same, since you're using other software. Opium91, After extraction (I use Winrar), you should be left with one ISO file, if you have multiple files you're are doing it wrong. I use "Winrar" to extract it (pick any of the guitar.hero.3.lof.pal.ps2.rXX, right click and select "extract here" and end up with "iso" file. An iso file is basically like a copy of the disk generally called an "CD IMAGE". I then put a blank DVD-R disk into my DVD burner and use a image burning software called "Alcohal 120%". I open up "Alcohal 120%" (after installing it) and select "Image Burning Wizard". I browse for "iso" image file, click next and then select the Write speed keeping it no-more then x4 (, my DVD writer is old so I use x2 speed). Burn the game to disk. As for playing the game on my PS2, I use swap magic 3.8 coder to load up my back-up games, and everything works fine.

koiboi, I know of this problem, when a PAL TV (that can't view NTSC region pictures) tries to play an NTSC game, it gets the result that you speak of. It's also likely that the reverse can happen too. Are you using an NTSC region (US or Japanese) TV trying to play this PAL version game?

I'm using a NTSC TV to play... awww I didn't know that happens... Thanks c0m1c5, I thought my PS2 or my burner were messed up for a second, never would've thought of my TV.

koiboi, While there are ways to fix the problem by patching it, or maybe the method you use to play back-ups may have a fix. (I using swap magic boot disk which can set NTSC games to play on my old PAL TV). I use the word OLD because many new (expensive) TVs both in PAL and NTSC regions are compatable with both formats. But the same advice I give to everyone, it to avoid hassle, just get the NTSC version of the game if you're in an NTSC region. iainac11, I don't know why it's taking so long for you, but I started my DL on the 9th (about the time I posted my first message), and reached 100% an hour ago.
