Leute leute leute... Even though I download Greg's old package, the Pok&eacute;mon Emerald I'm currently playing is not from it. But one thing I can say. It does work!!! I've probably had the same problems you guys are having with it, which is BLANK SCREEN upon game boot, and &quot;THE BATTERY HAS RUN DRY&quot; message upon load game screen. If it's the former, the problem is that the emulator is not set to use the &quot;Flash 128K&quot; SAVE TYPE. If you're using VBA (v1.5 or higher, Greg's pack's VBA is v1.8) all you have to do is set it to &quot;Flash 128K&quot;. Just go to: OPTIONS &gt; EMULATOR &gt; SAVE TYPE &gt; FLASH 128K Check it, exit the emulator and start it again. Now the blank scren problem is solved. THE FIX FOR THE BATTERY MESSAGE OIS IN THE NEXT COMMENT.

As for the &quot;The battery has run dry......&quot; message, it happens because mostly all games in the Pok&eacute;mon series need an internal clock to run (because of some particular game features). If it's an original Pokemon cartdrige for GB, it'll have a clock built in, and a battery to feed it. But if you're playing it in an emulator, as a ROM, there's no battery or clock whatsoever. Therefore time-based event's will no longer occour (and believe, Pok&eacute;mon games have A LOT of time-based events, mainly in the end) ie: Berries will not grow, etc. But your emulator (VBA v1.8 in this case) is very ass-kicking and emulate an internal clock for the game too. The sollution is as well simple. Go to: OPTIONS &gt; EMULATOR &gt; REAL TIME CLOCK Check it, exit the emulator and start it again. Now you should open Pok&eacute;mon Emerald and play it with no problems and be happy with it untill death do you part. I HOPE THIS HELPS!

I can't save my progress so i have to star all over!! When i save i go to the start menu with the bags and pokemons and others and then press save. Then i quit and i can't find the saved file or in the same game on the first menu theres no continue or load game option. I'm playing on this pc. Help please!
