A downloads is the number of how many times the torrent has been downloaded according to its tracker record
A seeder is a peer that has a complete copy of the torrent and still offers it for upload. The more seeders there are, the better the chances are for completion of the file
A leech is usually a peer who has a negative effect on the swarm by having a very poor share ratio - in other words, downloading much more than they upload. Most leeches are users on asymmetric internet connections who do not leave their BitTorrent client open to seed the file after their download has completed. However, some leeches intentionally avoid uploading by using modified clients or excessively limiting their upload speed. The term leech, however, can be used simply to describe a peer - or any client that does not have 100% of the data
A peer is one instance of a BitTorrent client running on a computer on the Internet that other clients connect to and transfer data. Usually a peer does not have the complete file, but only parts of it, however, peer can be used to refer to any participant in the swarm (in this case, also known as a client). Note that the colloquial definition of peer is anybody, leech or seed, involved in a torrent
A health (or avaiability) the number of full copies of the file available to the client. Each seeder adds 1.0 to this number, as they have one complete copy of the file. A connected peer with a fraction of the file available adds that fraction to the availability, if no other peer has this part of the file. (ie. a peer with 65.3% of the file downloaded increases the availability by 0.653, when two peers who both have the same 50% of the file downloaded and there is one seeder the availability is 1.5)

yea its the real thing but there is a problem with it. it will install fine and all but when you go to play it, a message will appear saying that you cant play it without buying it. HUH? found out that you the ea downloader to make it work and you need to buy it offline. if anyone can get this to work message me back
Does anybody know, why the stats still at 0.
I've uploaded nearly 4 GB and as seen in earlier post, some have completed to download it.
So, what is going on? The stats at my last torrent are working???

to the gamespy account system to see if your account is activated with EF (indicating you paid for it). If it isn't, it'll give you the error you guys have been getting and you'll get booted off the server.
Now, as far as I'm aware, this is all to do with the ranked servers. I do not know for sure, but it is quite possible that you may still be able to play EF maps on unranked servers, because they don't connect to the gamespy account server. Well I don't think they do anyway.
In any case, though, EF is uncrackable, because the code needed to crack resides on the gamespy account server and isn't on your side of the fence. Essentially it means unless you buy EF you can't play it. The only way I see around this, is if some bright spark uses EA Downloader and pinches the HTML code from the browser and works out a way to send the account activation without actually having to pay - this is risky though.

But now for the good news; You really aren't missing out on much. There are three maps, one army which is just shit, and only four new vehicles, 2 tanks 1 jet and 1 chopper, all of which are identicle models to the other vehicles in the original game, just reskinned with modified handling. The euro fighter jet is one of them, and it handles like a turd in flight, mor elike a bomber than a fighter.
As for the three maps you get, they're all mainly concentrating on armour and aircraft battles - one in particular has so much armour infantry are pretty much dead unless they find a vehicle to get in as soon as they spawn. So if you're the type that likes infantry orientated maps then this is certainly one to avoid.

Theres also the fact 64 player versions of the maps aren't supported. They give you the 16 and 32 player versions but you have to rely on servers using the 32 player map with 64 player slots if you lik big matches. Added to which none of th emaps are particularly well designed (except apparently the great wall map which is nice to look at but has nothing else going for it).

All in all, if you're desperate to play new content you might as well go and download a map pack of totalbf2.com or something and use there servers to play it as paying for this crap is certainly not worth doing unless you're REALLY desperate AND you want to plauy on ranked servers... But that's upto you. [End]
Oh god damn it. Okay that first comment it cut the top half of what I wrote out so it makes absolutely no sense at all (wouldn't be so bad if it didn't keep giving me database error messages every time I submitted). it should read:
In response to all the "How do I get it to work?" questions, there's something you should know about this. There's some good news, and some bad news. For a start, the good news; Euro Force is not like Special Forces in as much as it's not a seperate game. It's actually just a map pack made by DICE/EA, which you have to pay for.
and then...
Normally what you'd do is use EA Downloader, log in with your EA account (not the gamespy account you use to play BF2), then pay for EF. It would then become available to download to you. Once downloaded and installed, you have to use EA Downloader to 'set' your gamespy account up so it's activated with EF.
As such, when you go on a RANKED server with the EF map pack, the server sends off a check to the gamespy account system to... [and from here on read my first comment again]

There IS a working crack for this now. It involves a fixed .exe, as the check is in BF2.exe. For those who know hex editing, find the reference for the 3 maps, and rename inside the exe. DONE!
