i downloaded this, and it installed correctly, but when i try to run the game it doesn't load up, it closes and does nothing. i have vista btw, but that shouldn't be a problem with this game

I got it to work, at first I thought it was a bad d/l but if you pay attention (atleast in my case under vista) the program was not crashing but being closed by windows for DEP. Game Guard is tricky and needed rights to run, so turning off DEP for the program got it up and running instantly. Also make sure you have the newest Direct-X installed and you may be able to skip that step. Also make sure to run the program as an administrator. Only got about 20 minutes deep into it so far, it seems about the same as the old PSU in 1 player but the character is zoomed further out and the graphics seem sharper (but I am playing on my 15" laptop not my 37" screen I use on my desktop) Good game, after I beat 1 player I may pay the monthly fee and go online again.

i disabled the dep, and that still didn't work. i had dx 9c installed before i got this game, but for some reason i had to install the version on the disc. after that it runs perfectly

humm how do you turn off DEP? ^^' cuz the game dosnt load up when I stard as well. and what do you mean by ''had to install the version on the disc''?

Running this on XP, I disabled DEP for all 4 .exe's(online, option, offline, and illuminus) and it still doesn't start up in either story or network mode, latest available DX installed, and I'd also like to know what atlus meant by installing the version on the disc.

Just install Direct X off the disc and it works fine, as XP DEP is automatically off apart from a few windows selected programs.

Yes! This torrent works! Just follow the instructions by Didanix: 1. Install the game. 2. Disable DEP 3. Install DirectX from the game's CD (no matter what version you have) 4. Run the game. note for 2: To disable DEP for windows Vista goto start menu, then go to Help and Support, which is right above the turn off windows buttons. Once there search windows help with this topic "Change Data Execution Prevention settings", then click on the number 1 result that turns up. Follow the instructions and you will learn how to turn off DEP for certain .exe At first when you run the game gameguard loads and updates, if the game doesn't start after gameguard updates just run it again, don't worry if you see a black screen for a while as it takes a few minutes to load, once you see the SEGA logo after a few minutes of staring at a black scrren you know that the game is running properly. a little problem i noticed. i use vuze(formerly azureus), and i was away for some days not downloading. today i tried to resume and the tracker was changed to ******.info, one that requires registration. if you get an error that you're leeching, change the tracker back to the piratebay tracker.
