A downloads is the number of how many times the torrent has been downloaded according to its tracker record
A seeder is a peer that has a complete copy of the torrent and still offers it for upload. The more seeders there are, the better the chances are for completion of the file

A peer is one instance of a BitTorrent client running on a computer on the Internet that other clients connect to and transfer data. Usually a peer does not have the complete file, but only parts of it, however, peer can be used to refer to any participant in the swarm (in this case, also known as a client). Note that the colloquial definition of peer is anybody, leech or seed, involved in a torrent
A health (or avaiability) the number of full copies of the file available to the client. Each seeder adds 1.0 to this number, as they have one complete copy of the file. A connected peer with a fraction of the file available adds that fraction to the availability, if no other peer has this part of the file. (ie. a peer with 65.3% of the file downloaded increases the availability by 0.653, when two peers who both have the same 50% of the file downloaded and there is one seeder the availability is 1.5)

I created this torrent because it was really hard for me to find full english copy of HW:Cataclysm with cinematics. I hope many of You who decided to give this game a try will be happy to have it all in one pack. Here is how to make it work, it's really easy:
1. Install HW:Cataclysm by double clicking on homeworld cataclysm v1 00.exe
2. Patch it by doble clicking on hwc_1.01_patch.exe
3. Copy movies from Movies folder of this torrent to Movies folder of the game (or simply copy Movies folder to where You got HW:Cataclysm installed)
4. Copy crack from Crack directory to where You got HW:Cataclysm installed
5. Enjoy!
This is not my rip, this torrent consists of:
1. 162mb ripped release of HW:Cataclysm which can be found on public trackers
2. 171mb Movies folder taken from some german release I found somewhere in the net (cinematics are narrated in english though)
3. working crack I found on gamecopy world
All together it works fine and allows You to play and enjoy great story within the game.
Hi mates, as far as I can tell it works fine if you follow the instructions i provided in Read_this_first.txt file.
@Rukin - I don't know where did you get the idea of version 1.1 of the game, but as you can see at gamecopy world (http://m0001.gamecopyworld.com/games/pc_cataclysm.shtml#Cataclysm%20Game%20Updates)
there is only 1.0.0.1 version of the crack (which is the same as provided in this pack). To put it simple - to use the game you don't have to patch to 1.1, just follow the instructions (or point me 1.1 patch so I can admit I'm wrong).
@silverfury0093 - "i cant seem to start it" can't seem to bring you anywhere near the solution. What I mean is I uploaded this torrent and I try to support it by helping people to run the game, but first you need to describe your problem some more.
: alright this kinda $#@@!, i've followed all the instructions on the read this first txt file however, everytime i try and load the game i get the message "windows needs to close this file, we're sorry for inconvenence blah blah blah please send this to microsoft blah blah blah, can anyone help me even figuer out what the problem is??
One thing I can tell you is that you should give us some more details, like which windows do you use, your hardware specification, programs running in background etc. As far as I can tell something is wrong with your machine, not with the release.
Did you try to google for it? First of all - check if your video card is supported. Then make sure you try to run the game in compatibility mode (in case you have not tried it yet). If your video card is supported, make sure to have latest drivers installed. Hope this helps.
google for problems with running hw:cataclysm? To run the game in compatibility mode right-click on the .exe file, click on propertiens, then go to compatibility tab and set appropriate mode.
Oh, come on Did you follow instructions in Read_this_first.txt file? It's hard to belive that crack from gamecopyworld doesn't work on your machine while it works perfectly fine on mine...

Followed all instructions, patched, cracked and still after 2 stupid commercials it takes me out and tells me to complain to Microsoft

I Have the 158 MB Installer of ver 1.0, Then I'll Download You Videos & Put it in...

it goes to startm up but just as its about to go through starting vids it says that has stopped working and needs to be closed
any help would be great cos this is an amazing game that i want back
The game is running on my computer... through the first level.
After I beat the level and start the next one it shuts down and asks is I wanna send an error report...
Anyone else gone through this and figured it out?
Hey guys ive had the same problem with the game getting an error after the first start up videos. I solved the problem by takeing the crack files out of the folder. Just leave the cataclysm application icon in the folder or it will ask for a cd. Hope it helps!
