Comments (199): Hey if i install this game can i play insurgeny? ive downloaded it from STEAM but when im triyng to run the game it says:"Half-Life 2 is required to run mods" L0L i will dowload this becuz i cant wait 4 some1 to comment back XDD • Yeah i tried it too, it works, but i had issues with the savegames. sometimes it made a file in the /episodic/save game folder that was not a .sav with a corresponding .tga (graphic image), they had different extensions, made by the auto-save feature.. after i deleted those files it loaded and i managed to finish the game. so to sum it up make sure you only have .tga and .sav files in that folder.. BTW the game is WAY too short, 5 levels, and it kind of ****ed that it was cut off so early, just as i was getting into it. But it's good if you liked half life 2. no wonder people are downloading this • Amazing torrent. Just unzip with winrar. Probably my last comment. Worked amazingly, little or no glitches with the npcs were found. • I cant find the .bat

The direct X setup keeps freezing up while installing so I have to end it in the task manager so that may be the problem. Its strange that all the other animations are in place except the mouths.

This update also updates hCUPa emulator to v2.50 which will
re-enable online play. It also now supports SDK,
Source Dedicated Server and all Half-Life 1 engine games.

Install Notes (Please follow these instructions IN ORDER)
1. Unpack the release with WinRAR or equivalent
2. Close STEAM if it is running.
3. Run patch.exe and install to ValveSteamSteamApps and wait
until it is finished. It will take a good 10 minutes or so.
4. Run hl2install.exe from the HL2Installer directory.
5. Run cssInstaller.exe from the CSSInstaller directory.
6. Run hl2dminstaller.exe from the HL2DMInstaller directory.
7. Run Steam Online.reg if you want to play online.
Edit the steamemu.ini in
ValveSteamSteamAppsUserCounter-Strike Source
with your STEAM username and password and SteamOnline=1.
Also edit the steamemu.ini in
ValveSteamSteamAppsUserHalf-Life 2 Deathmatch
with the same information if you want to play HL2 Deathmatch.
*NOTE*
You CANNOT use your previous .ini files for this update!
You MUST edit the new ones.
8. Make sure STEAM is running if you plan to play on legit servers.
9. Run the appropriate shortcut for the game you want to play from
your desktop.
