Description

Temiendo el castigo de sus tøos (y la repercusiones que tendrβ en Hogwarts y en el Ministerio de Magia, que prohøben terminantemente a los es-tudiantes hacer hechizos en el mundo no mβgico), Harry huye en medio de la noche. Rβpidamente es recogido por el ?Autob˙s Noc-tβmbulo?, un fantβstico vehøculo violeta de tres pisos que le lleva al pub del Caldero Chorreante. Al llegar, Harry es recibido por el Mi-nistro de Magia, Cornelius Fudge (Robert Hardy), que inexplicable-mente no le castiga por su indebida hechicerøa y en lugar de ello in-siste en que pase la noche en el Caldero Chorreante antes de vol-ver a Hogwarts. Resulta que la raz≤n por la que Fudge no expulsa a Harry es que un peligroso y enigmβtico mago, Sirius Black (Gary Oldman), se ha escapado de la Prisi≤n de Azkaban y se cree que estβ buscando a Harry. Seg˙n la leyenda Black fue el responsable de llevar a Lord Voldemort hasta los padres de Harry y de la poste-rior muerte de éstos, y ahora estβ decidido a matar también a Ha-rry. Por lo tanto, el ˙nico lugar seguro para él estβ en Hogwarts. Pero, para empeorar las cosas, en Hogwarts se alojan los aterrado-res guardas de Azkaban, los Dementores, que se han instalado en el colegio para tratar de proteger de Black a Harry y al resto de los estudiantes. Los Dementores absorben las almas de sus presas y desgraciadamente para Harry parecen sentirse inexplicablemente atraødos por él. Su inquietante presencia deja helado de terror al jo-ven mago, dejβndole prβcticamente indefenso, hasta que el profe-sor Lupin (David Thewlis), el nuevo profesor de Defensa contra las Artes Oscuras, ense±a a Harry c≤mo utilizar el Encantamiento Pa-tronus para protegerse de los efectos paralizantes de los Demento-res. Parece inevitable una confrontaci≤n entre Harry y el enigmβtico prisionero Sirius Black? pero, ┐cuβl es exactamente la relaci≤n del Profesor Lupin con Black? ┐Cuβl es el oscuro secreto que el Profesor Snape (Alan Rickman) estβ tan ansioso por desvelar? Y ┐por qué estβ Scabbers, la rata mascota de Ron, tan desesperada por escapar de sus manos? Harry necesitarβ todo el valor, la magia y el apoyo que pueda reunir para responder a estas preguntas y descubrir la verdad que hay detrβs de Sirius Black y sus lazos con el misterioso pasado del joven y superdotado mago.
