Description
La serie rompe barreras y se acerca a la medicina sin miedo ni complejos, a través de la figura de su protagonista principal, el doctor Gregory House, especialista en el tratamiento de enfermedades infecciosas. FÃsicamente muy peculiar, un hombre atractivo, entrado en la cuarentena, afectado por una cojera y con un carácter bastante solitario –de hecho, si puede, evita hablar con sus pacientes, a los que sin embargo observa sin ser visto-. Ã?‰l es un firme creyente de que debe curar las enfermedades, no a los pacientes.
La serie está ambientada en un hospital universitario de Princetown, donde Gregory House dirige una unidad especial, encargada de pacientes afectados por dolencias extrañas, en la que colaboran un selecto grupo de aventajados ayudantes. Todo ello, bajo la misteriosa mirada del doctor House, que investiga sus casos con la minuciosidad de un Sherlock Holmes.
