Comments (9): Very awesome files if I say so myself. • This download is sooooooooooooo slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. It is a real shame there are not too many seeders here but I think for a lot of people the file is too big. For one thing you can take out the John Williams guitar albums because as post 4 says it is nothing to do with Jhon Williams the Composer. But I wish nore people could seed this it is very very slow and I have got 74% but the remainer is so slow its going to take another 2 weeks to finish. • Hey, thanks A LOT for providing this masterpiece!!! Description
He recorded "Cavatina" by Stanley Myers. The piece had originally been written for piano but at Williams' invitation, it was re-written for guitar and was expanded by Myers. The guitar version became a worldwide hit single when it was used as the theme tune to the Oscar-winning film The Deer Hunter (1979). On this album the piece is performed with a new arrangement including fluetes and clarinets briefly towards the end.
