A downloads is the number of how many times the torrent has been downloaded according to its tracker record
A seeder is a peer that has a complete copy of the torrent and still offers it for upload. The more seeders there are, the better the chances are for completion of the file
A leech is usually a peer who has a negative effect on the swarm by having a very poor share ratio - in other words, downloading much more than they upload. Most leeches are users on asymmetric internet connections who do not leave their BitTorrent client open to seed the file after their download has completed. However, some leeches intentionally avoid uploading by using modified clients or excessively limiting their upload speed. The term leech, however, can be used simply to describe a peer - or any client that does not have 100% of the data
A peer is one instance of a BitTorrent client running on a computer on the Internet that other clients connect to and transfer data. Usually a peer does not have the complete file, but only parts of it, however, peer can be used to refer to any participant in the swarm (in this case, also known as a client). Note that the colloquial definition of peer is anybody, leech or seed, involved in a torrent
A health (or avaiability) the number of full copies of the file available to the client. Each seeder adds 1.0 to this number, as they have one complete copy of the file. A connected peer with a fraction of the file available adds that fraction to the availability, if no other peer has this part of the file. (ie. a peer with 65.3% of the file downloaded increases the availability by 0.653, when two peers who both have the same 50% of the file downloaded and there is one seeder the availability is 1.5)

after you follow the patch instructions have your ipod connected and click on the second option to activate it, choose register manually and you'll get two boxez, one with a bunch of jibberish for an ID, just leave the second one blank and hit 'OK' and it will activate w/o any sort of key. remember to read the patch steps carefully too.
ok so you get a zip file with 2 things in this download.the .exe to install the program and the patch.i just installed the program opend it (dindt connect the ipod cuz i dont have one yet) and it seemed to be working fine...even without the patch.will it stop working in the future if i didnt patch it?

Followed the patch instructions and it says patched successfully. Initiate the program. It says" Anapod cannot establish comunicationwith your device.If I use the trial version of 8.9.5 it recognizes my ipod but has so many limitations. Any ideas?Thanks

Eeja this would be THE thing because iTunes doesn't work on my computer. So finally I have found a good program (the trial-version worked perfect) But if I download the .rar file and undrar it there are only two .exe files (anapod.....exe and patch.exe) and a .txt file.But there isn't a readme anywhere so I don't know how to install this thing and this patch and so on. Could somebody send me the readme file or put a good instruction here with step by step how to install this nice program!Thanks in advance!
open up the patch file and then click on NFO... read the instructions given and when you apply the patch, make sure to copy and paste the patch file into the same installed directory which is probably "anapod explorer", then run the patch... nice and easy and it works GREAT!I would also love to get my hands on the patch for the 8.9.5a version if anyone has it. I have a video ipod and would serve well to use that version instead! Thanks in advance.
You have to open patch.exe and there you can see the NFO file:Unzip & run the crack in the Anapod Explorer directoryto modify the files: anamgr.exe, anapod.dll,anapodpw.dll and sendto.dllSince the Anapod Explorer is most likely already running,you will probably have to do the following stepsto be able to successfully close and patch the program:1. unzip to the Anapod Explorer directory.2. run the crack program, but DO NOT apply the patch!!3. close the Anapod Manager (right click on the traybar icon and select 'Exit Anapod Manager' then yes)4. run the task manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC)5. go to the processes tab and terminate all instancesof explorer.exe (End Process)[this step will close the desktop andall any currently open explorer windows]6. apply the patch.7. in the task manager menu select File->New Task(Run...)and launch explorer.exe to recover the desktop.8. launch the Anapod Manager or reboot and enjoy!
i have the 8.9.5a with patch but i wont give it to ANYONE, unless they tell me how to use it with windows 98 se. the instructions are exactly the same as the one for this older version.
