If the Video is PAL (25FPS - used in most of europe) and you are trying to convert to NTSC (23.976 - used in US and JAPAN), make CERTAIN to slow the audio down to 23.976 frames per second to match the video, use BESWEET to do this. Avisynth, CCE(cinema craft encoder) + TMPG DVD Author can help you encode the video for DVD Format, there are many guides available which tell how to do this. You do not have to join the video files, just create a separate track in TMPG DVD Author for the individual video files.

Use dvdSanta - I use 3.41 full version build 5025 & I've never had the problems you guys are having. You can convert the source file to either NTSC or PAL to suit.I don't give a rat's ass what the FPS are PAL vs NTSC, 'cause I don't have to!

The frame rates are the same on both discs; don't mess with them. The problem is that the AC3 is interleaved improperly. Here's the fix:- Get the latest version of VirtualDubMod. It can fix the interleave problem and join the two files, if desired, at the same time.- Load CD1; you can "Append" CD2 to CD1 from the file menu if you want to, OR- Load each file separately.- set the interleave in the streams audio menu for 64 ms- "Save As" new format nameHope this works for you.
