To get this Directx Error to vanish you have to open the Root Directory of your NFS: MW CD/DVD, then search the autorun.exe, right click it and click on Properties, go to the 3.rd Area " Compatibility" , fill the box which says "Run this Programm in Compatibility mode for:"And then select "Windows 2000", click ok.Now the Direct-X Error is gone.If you are one of the luck-less humans out there and still get this error, there's another way for you guys :You need to do the following:1. After you mount the game image, copy all the files to you hard drive in one folder for example NFSMW.2. Open the \NFSMW\Autorun folder..and then open the file autorun.cfg with Notepad.3. Look for the parameter DirectXVersion=9.0c and change the 9.0c to 0 and save the file.4. Run the Setup from your hard drive folder and ENJOY!!

OK, I don't know what's going on...I've got a lot of seeds and peers, I am not limiting my dl and ul speeds and I can't seem to get the normal download speeds I get with torrents with a lot of seeds like this one...my swarm is packed and the swarm speed is around the 1.2 MB/s, and my dl speed does not even get close to 20 kb/s...with torrents like this one I would get download speeds of 42 kb/s!!what's wrong? I am using Azureus...ports already forwarded....and I ain't no newbie!

I have a problem... Before when i mounted the iso file, installation worked until i got that Direct X 9.0C error. I followed an instruction that told me to open the autorun.cfg with notepad and find the line &quot;DirectXVersion=9.0c&quot; and change the &quot;9.0c&quot; to &quot;0&quot;. I did it and replaced the autorun.cfg... Now when i try to mount the iso file and install the game, it tells me to insert CD/DVD 1 into G drive... Now what can i do? Thx

Do u know whether the ATI Radeon X800 SE card is supported by this game because I complete the entire steps and then when the game tries to start, a blue screen pops up and my computer gets hung. I can only restart then...kindly help!
