Usually a peer does not have the complete file, but only parts of it, however, peer can be used to refer to any participant in the swarm (in this case, also known as a client). Note that the colloquial definition of peer is anybody, leech or seed, involved in a torrent
A health (or avaiability) the number of full copies of the file available to the client. Each seeder adds 1.0 to this number, as they have one complete copy of the file. A connected peer with a fraction of the file available adds that fraction to the availability, if no other peer has this part of the file. (ie. a peer with 65.3% of the file downloaded increases the availability by 0.653, when two peers who both have the same 50% of the file downloaded and there is one seeder the availability is 1.5)

My friend found one solution:
go to regedit, find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWARESierraSWAT 4 and modify Version value from 1.1 to 1.0 Then you only need install patch 1.1 again for example from Expansion Pack cd. After this you can install Expansion Pack... :D
för att spela detta expansion med ett nedladdat vanlit swat4 ,ominstallera swat 4 utan att cracka det ...då går det att installera swat 4 patch o sen kan man installera stetckov syndicate(denna expansion) sen när du installerat expansion crackar du det ....då funkar allt perfekt...
Question: This expansion comes with it's own CD-Key or we can use the original one from vanilla SWAT 4?I have original SWAT 4, but I really am not excited about this expansion. If it works with old CD-Key, then great. Anyone knows?(posting this question everywhere)
Just to let u know swat 4 will allow an unlimited number of people to play with the same CD key as long as they are on different servers, if some one has the same CD key as you and you try to join the same server it won't let you
I recently downloaded the orginal SWAT 4 from : http://ts.searching.com/torrent/221457/Swat_4_2CDs_Game_Pc_WwW_LiMiTeDiVx_CoMI got the original from torrentspy.com some time ago, and my question is will this work with the expansion ?Thnx :)
u need to have the original, non cracked exe when u install it or else it will say its not the retail version, and also, does anybody have a mutliplayer patch for this, the expansion?
Ok, I installed it right and all that but when I start the game it asks for the disc! Was there a crack op something I was suppose to use? Or do you need to have the game mounted when you start it?
Guys,Here' s the deal. Tried all the above suggestions without luck. Did a fresh install and ran the patch from the expansion without the crack.... no luck. Says cannot find swat 4. Something is obviously not right. Its frustrating to have the game and not be able to play..For all those who managed to get the expansion working, please help. Give clear instruction on how you got the expansion to work!!!ThanksShawn.
