A downloads is the number of how many times the torrent has been downloaded according to its tracker record
A seeder is a peer that has a complete copy of the torrent and still offers it for upload. The more seeders there are, the better the chances are for completion of the file
A leech is usually a peer who has a negative effect on the swarm by having a very poor share ratio - in other words, downloading much more than they upload. Most leeches are users on asymmetric internet connections who do not leave their BitTorrent client open to seed the file after their download has completed. However, some leeches intentionally avoid uploading by using modified clients or excessively limiting their upload speed. The term leech, however, can be used simply to describe a peer - or any client that does not have 100% of the data
A peer is one instance of a BitTorrent client running on a computer on the Internet that other clients connect to and transfer data. Usually a peer does not have the complete file, but only parts of it, however, peer can be used to refer to any participant in the swarm (in this case, also known as a client). Note that the colloquial definition of peer is anybody, leech or seed, involved in a torrent
A health (or avaiability) the number of full copies of the file available to the client. Each seeder adds 1.0 to this number, as they have one complete copy of the file. A connected peer with a fraction of the file available adds that fraction to the availability, if no other peer has this part of the file. (ie. a peer with 65.3% of the file downloaded increases the availability by 0.653, when two peers who both have the same 50% of the file downloaded and there is one seeder the availability is 1.5)

Note: Unlike other torrent indexes we find more trackers for a torrent and put them sorted by seeders into the torrent upon every download. This should improve download speed. Extra trackers marked with '+' sign. If you have problems with this then let us know.
Actually I suspect this is the 2CD version -- it`s re-release, smaller due to better compression. Also note, as jiujitsu said, the 2CD version has already been prepatched.I already own the game, but great thing to share this, since it`s not easy to get hold of it nowadays. :)More info here: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/planescapetorment/
Yup, it's the 2 CD version. The files have simply been copied off the discs into separate directories. (Be sure to read the ReadMe.txt for a small note on that.) I made ISOs out of them, mounted them with DaemonTools, and installed the game -- everything works fine.I already own the 4 CD version, but this makes for a nice small backup. Thanks jiujitsu!

I installed from the autorun in the cd1 folder. When I started the game, it asked for disc number 2 in drive d:I therefore made an ISO of CD2 and mounted it with Daemon Tools (to a virtual drive e:). It then got past the first screen and allowed me to select a "New Life".However when I distribute attribute points and accept, it then asks for disc number 2 in drive c: which is my main drive. I cannot get past this point.

I don't have problems with caracter creation (I burnt 2 CDs and it worked fine) but once I'm about to leave mortuary there should be a movie playing and that's when things screw up...
Why weren't just the CD images created like in every other game release? It's the most effective and cleanest way to distribute a CD- and it doesn't involve the complications of creating isos and burning to discs and messing with files. It's the same thing you get from the retail box: CDs.Have people got it working? It sucks when only the people who didn't get it to work comment..
Ok guys, I think i solved this problem, without using isos or things like these.First, extract the .rar in any location (i.e. c:\Planescape_Torment), then install the game from the setup in the cd1 folder (which is in the extracted folder). Go to the directory where it was installed, find the torment.ini, open it and it says something like (with other things under):[Alias]HD0:=C:\Program Files\BlackIsle\Planescape - TormentCD1:=D:CD2:=D:CD3:=D:CD4:=D:(the names of the drives may differ). Now all you have to do is change the path of the CDs 1 (i think this one is useless, but not sure), 2, 3 and 4. For the 3 last CDs, you write the path of the extracted directory (the first one, with cd1, cd2 folder and the readme), followed by cd2. For example, in this case it would be:CD1:=C:\Planescape_TormentCD2:=C:\Planescape_Torment\cd2CD3:=C:\Planescape_Torment\cd2CD4:=C:\Planescape_Torment\cd2Launch the game, and if it works, you should see the movies (black isle, TSR and introduction movies). It worked for me, I hope it'll work for you. I also hope my explanations are clear (although i doubt it ;) ).EDIT: I just found out, you need to burn or mount the CD2 as said in the first readme to get the introduction movies. I don't know where it comes from, unfortunately.
Installed from CD1. After that I mounted the CD2 ISO in H: drive of Daemon Tools for the 1st time. The game could run and play properly. After that I tried to play another day in the I: drive of DT. The game prompted for CD2 to be in H: drive. So I just unmounted from I: drive and mounted in H: drive again. Voila
ok..so heres what you do...extract cd1 and cd2 seperately to c:\ drive . then install from c:\cd1 .restart. Then all you have to do....open torment.ini from the default installation directory of planescape torment..generally c:\program files\planescape-torment\ and then edit only the following headings..cd2:=c:\cd2cd3:=c:\cd2cd4:=c:\cd2no need to modify or worry about anything else..done..go ahead and play..tis a wonderful game.
