Well I went ahead and downloaded the whole thing. Perfect quality and perfect sound as always. Thank you aXXo. Whoever was talking about a green stripe must have been smoking something. Aspect ratio, visual quality, sound... all pretty much impossible to tell from a retail DVD

If you download the Divx player from their website, you can play it on that. Windows Media Player can't read .avi files

guys,the bbc series are sooooooooo much better than this movie! If you like Jane Austen I encourage you to watch them, 6 episodes, with caricaturized characters, english sense of humour, perfect filmaking, music and costumes(the movie's costumes are not at all convincing)As far as I am concerned, this is the worst adaptation of anAusten's novel...Of course they chose goodlooking and wellknown actors, but the actors in the BBC production are so true to their character, and much more convincing(the Bennets, M. Darcy , Catherine de Bourgh, etc)And they have an oscar nomination for their costumes! i think that is nonsense!the movie's costumes are much closer to the spirit of the French revolution than to the Empire's one...I mean, I couldn't feel the presence of Jane Austen in this movie...anyway it remains an agreable movie to watch, so, thank you aXXo!

while this doesn't have the kiss at the end, it's the same version that's been showing pre-dvd release at hotels on airplanes throughout the US, so I wonder if the DVD release also has dropped the kiss at the end?
