A downloads is the number of how many times the torrent has been downloaded according to its tracker record
A seeder is a peer that has a complete copy of the torrent and still offers it for upload. The more seeders there are, the better the chances are for completion of the file
A leech is usually a peer who has a negative effect on the swarm by having a very poor share ratio - in other words, downloading much more than they upload. Most leeches are users on asymmetric internet connections who do not leave their BitTorrent client open to seed the file after their download has completed. However, some leeches intentionally avoid uploading by using modified clients or excessively limiting their upload speed. The term leech, however, can be used simply to describe a peer - or any client that does not have 100% of the data
A peer is one instance of a BitTorrent client running on a computer on the Internet that other clients connect to and transfer data. Usually a peer does not have the complete file, but only parts of it, however, peer can be used to refer to any participant in the swarm (in this case, also known as a client). Note that the colloquial definition of peer is anybody, leech or seed, involved in a torrent
A health (or avaiability) the number of full copies of the file available to the client. Each seeder adds 1.0 to this number, as they have one complete copy of the file. A connected peer with a fraction of the file available adds that fraction to the availability, if no other peer has this part of the file. (ie. a peer with 65.3% of the file downloaded increases the availability by 0.653, when two peers who both have the same 50% of the file downloaded and there is one seeder the availability is 1.5)

I have downloaded things before, some am not totally inept, but I don't have a clue where to begin with this one.
Could someone please give me a quick idea of what I need to do to play this game? Do I need to burn it onto a DVD before I play it or something?

I downloaded Daemon-Tools but can't suss out how to mount / install Tomb Raider using it.
Do I have to first burn it to a DVD perhaps?

I mounted it, then. It did the thing where it looked like it was installing the game for a bit and then when it ended it came up with a box that said "insert original disc" or something. So, I clicked ok. That disappeared. What do I do now? Nothing seems different on my PC. I tried to put the tra file somewhere, but can't work out where you mean. Sorry to be so ignorant, but I haven't used Daemon Tools before. I think all other downloads that I've done have been a bit easier for me to comprehend!

Thanks so much for being patient with me. I've finally got it sussed and have played the game for the last hour. Aaaah, the memories came flooding back, although it was never anywhere near this good! Well, if you don't mind I have a further problem, sorry! I cannot save my progress. It won't let me set up a profile, whatever that means. Also, if you know how, it would be nice to be able to use the right hand stick of my joypad to scan the view, but I can't see anywhere to change this (and have to use the mouse for this).

If you use isobuster you can extract the NRG IMAGE and a file comes up with all the files you need to setup the game
I also downloaded the game on a previous torrect and the same thing happened .
i have the same exact problem as andlav22, post #21 and 23. my OS is xp pro and ive tried using power iso and daemon tool lite. it gets 95% then stops. iven extracted all contents to a folder and tried mounting just using the exe..same exact thing it gets 95% then stops.any help would be greatly appreciated.~S~ to all. and thx fer the upload Booster2.ive uploaded almost 4 gigs so i dont think its a sharing problem.

ok well check this out>>it never finished installing but yet when i went to look in programs it was there.clicked and works np after using no/cd.but..here's where it gets interesting,it is NOT in my add/remove programs,its not mounted so its supposed to be there correct?but still 95% installed supposedly and works np at all.i tried installing it about 4 times, does this mean it took up 4 times diskspace too?when i click on icon to see what size it is its only a few 1000kb or so.
it was strange, after each time i tried to install it it stopped at 95%.I never botherd to check if it was in programs list.just kept trying to re install it...IT must have been there the first time tried it.i think the only thing it didnt install was the TRA.exe icon on desktop.I've been playing it for a few hrs no problem.So....#21 check in programs list and i bet ya its there. Yo Booster dude u got any other uploads? i searched and found nothing else youve uploaded.would like to know what else ya got.
