Comments (10): If you like the unkompressed (original dvd) then write the comments here this page!!! If I see 20 comments then upload the original dvd (abaut 16 Gb) Yes please! I should count for 20, well, maybe not, but i wish you would. jocoka - 2009-08-22 23:43 CET: If you like the unkompressed (original dvd) then write the comments here this page!!! If I see 20 comments then upload the original dvd (abaut 16 Gb) Yes please Thank you for this...should be good. I would love the original too but, if I wait for 20comments, they might not come so then I will just download this one instead. You should have just put the original one up and not this one, if you are willing to seed it anyway why wait for comments...? It's a fact that mosty people don't even bother to leave a comment to say thanks but that's the way it is! So if you want to put the original up...I will seed it of course :) Thanks. First els? How about upping the original 16GB DVD in NTSC?! Of course, I'd prefer the original DVD

Comments (4): @RBTRAING Is there a good free program ImgBurn. Best of its kind. Here is the site:http://www.imgburn.com/ It will create an image of the DVD and record it to disc. It also offers options for the transition point between the layers if the disk is DVD 9. Don't download, jumpy and skips parts of songs. tried the imgburn instructions but no option for slecting sell 12, had 4 errors during iso creation Remember!!! Not giving that have here, you risk losing much more in another. These are the laws of life! Thank you.

Comments (2): mossacre is wrong. And he doesn't seem to know anything on this video. This is the only (and best) version you can ever find of The Wall performed live. This is the best choice if you want to have a historic document. Although the quality is not perfect, this is the best one you'll ever find. vhs rip not worthy of dvd conversion. extreme low quality

AUDIO1: 224Kbps MP3 audio from XviD video source, converted to WAV, normalized, then transcoded as 320Kbps Dolby Digital audio

Chapter 1. Breathe
Chapter 2. Money
Chapter 3. Wish You Were Here
Chapter 4. Comfortably Numb

DVD notes.

First off, this is *not* one for the digital purists. Both audio and video sources are lossy sourced, and very likely a higher quality version will surface soon. (And the inevitable commercial DVD will be top quality, and should be purchased by everyone reading or writing this text file.) This is simply my attempt to take the best audio/video sources I could find on the Internets the weekend of the show, and make an NTSC DVD that would play on my TV. The resulting DVD turned out quite nice, so I share it here so that others may benefit from my afternoon of format conversion and audio tweaking.

That said, the results are quite good. This looks and sounds quite a bit better than the "highest quality" recording I Tivo'ed off cable, and unlike the US broadcasts, it's complete. Yeah, I'd much rather have something encoded from a high bitrade satellite feed rather than XviD. But that hasn't surfaced yet, and I'm sure there are others out there who, in the meantime, would like to enjoy this on DVD.

CONVERSIONS INFO:
VIDEO: XviD video (576x320, 25fps, 2184Kbps) converted to MPEG2 (CBR 8500Kbps 720x480 29.97fps) using TMPGEnc 2.524.
AUDIO1: Original XviD video (48KHz 224Kbps MP3 audio) converted to 48KHz stereo WAV and normalized using Adobe Audition 1.5.
AUDIO2: FLACs extracted to 44.1KHz stereo and joined using SHNTool. Normalized using Adobe Audition. Missing intro section added and cross-faded from AUDIO1 source.
AUDIO3: FLACs extracted to 44.1KHz stereo and joined using SHNTool. Normalized using Adobe Audition. Missing intro section added and cross-faded from AUDIO1 source.

All audio tracks transcoded to 320Kbps Dolby Digital and DVD authored using Adobe Encore DVD 1.5. No menus or additional goodies. Chapter marks at the beginning of each song.

There you have it. If it's your thing, please enjoy this DVD. DO NOT SELL IT, EVER. When the commercial product becomes available, buy it. And while you're at it, END GLOBAL POVERTY.
