(ie. a peer with 65.3% of the file downloaded increases the availability by 0.653, when two peers who both have the same 50% of the file downloaded and there is one seeder the availability is 1.5)

This is crap. The avi is wrapped in 'vodei' codec which you have to download to view the video. 'vodei' is malware that connects to the net, notes what you are watching and will soon ask you for money. If you don't pay, and uninstall, the word is it will damage your player (to convince you to reinstall).
