The reason the event happens during the load after you exit the sewer is because the new map has a lot more detail and graphics intensive rendering. It sounds like it's just failing to load and causing a system crash instead because your system can't handle it. My advice would be to upgrade to a newer system, but take that with a grain of salt because I am only suggesting this based on what little you wrote. There is very little real info in your post to work with. Nor is this comments section the place for that. Think you need the original oblivion.exe file to update
"Oblivion v1.2.0416English 1.exe"
after u installed Sivering Isles run
"ShiveringIsles_v1.2.0416English.exe" from the DVD
now you can copy the "Oblivion.exe" (it's v1.2.0416)
so you need to update Oblivion
