A downloads is the number of how many times the torrent has been downloaded according to its tracker record
A seeder is a peer that has a complete copy of the torrent and still offers it for upload. The more seeders there are, the better the chances are for completion of the file
A leech is usually a peer who has a negative effect on the swarm by having a very poor share ratio - in other words, downloading much more than they upload. Most leeches are users on asymmetric internet connections who do not leave their BitTorrent client open to seed the file after their download has completed. However, some leeches intentionally avoid uploading by using modified clients or excessively limiting their upload speed. The term leech, however, can be used simply to describe a peer - or any client that does not have 100% of the data
A peer is one instance of a BitTorrent client running on a computer on the Internet that other clients connect to and transfer data. Usually a peer does not have the complete file, but only parts of it, however, peer can be used to refer to any participant in the swarm (in this case, also known as a client). Note that the colloquial definition of peer is anybody, leech or seed, involved in a torrent
A health (or avaiability) the number of full copies of the file available to the client. Each seeder adds 1.0 to this number, as they have one complete copy of the file. A connected peer with a fraction of the file available adds that fraction to the availability, if no other peer has this part of the file. (ie. a peer with 65.3% of the file downloaded increases the availability by 0.653, when two peers who both have the same 50% of the file downloaded and there is one seeder the availability is 1.5)

Note: Unlike other torrent indexes we find more trackers for a torrent and put them sorted by seeders into the torrent upon every download. This should improve download speed. Extra trackers marked with '+' sign. If you have problems with this then let us know.
I'm having trouble with this torrent. After downloading it, the winrar archive wants to write a new version of the same file over and over when i try to extract it. i have s-beowulf.rxx and they number 1-92, but they won't combine when i extract. I'm sure i'm just doing something wrong.
yes if i get new Dual layer dvd burner can i split some o these larger blue ray disc's an make the full quality dvd on one o two o those disc's? or on a number of normal dvd+r that i can burn now?
I use mplayer to play my .mkv files. I am having trouble getting the subtitles to appear... can someone help me with it? I've monkeyed around without any success... I'd appreciate any help!
Glad I missed this at the theatre. The Canadian film, Beowulf & Grendel beats this "cartoon" ...

Not to start trouble or anything, seriously, but is there some reason most of the videos on here have to be encoded w/ some different no-name encoder? Everyone has their own thing for some reason, like they're getting kickbacks. I'd like to get into posting these if we're getting kickbacks to use obscure codecs. :-D But, although its slower than some, I haven't seen better than H.264 for HD video. Even at 5mbps it looks good on my 50". It works with every computer naturally with no extra players or buggy codecs...what's the reasoning behind making this more of a hassle than necessary when the standard, h264, is unbelievable quality compared to xvid, mkv, etc.
Is there a good program that can convert mkv to something useful easily? DV, or directly to MPEG4 or H264 with high quality encoding (rivaling Final Cut Compressor...otherwise I'd rather it convert to DV so I can go from there)
Thanks much, I really appreciate any insight. :)
Regardless of what they are, I really really appreciate the ability to see these movies in HD. Thanks for them. I was just curious why not a normal format that's easy to use (put on iphone, appletv, psp, etc). :-D
!!!!!!seed!!!!!!!!! 2kbps??? thats nothing for a 4.41 gb file!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SEED I REALLY WANT IT!!!!!!!!!!
AND HOW(OR WHERE) DO I GET A PROGRAM THAT ALLOWS ME TO PUT A 4.4 GB FILE ON A NORMAL DVD?
If you want to know why you don't get connected to any seeders when downloading a torrent uploaded by the user ?loader? or associated with MOVIEX... then read this:

MOVIEX is a bunch of leaching cunts!
Remove the MOVIEX link in your torrent you are downloading so that you don?t help their users with seeding, because you will not get anything back from them!
