A downloads is the number of how many times the torrent has been downloaded according to its tracker record
A seeder is a peer that has a complete copy of the torrent and still offers it for upload. The more seeders there are, the better the chances are for completion of the file
A leech is usually a peer who has a negative effect on the swarm by having a very poor share ratio - in other words, downloading much more than they upload. Most leeches are users on asymmetric internet connections who do not leave their BitTorrent client open to seed the file after their download has completed. However, some leeches intentionally avoid uploading by using modified clients or excessively limiting their upload speed. A peer is one instance of a BitTorrent client running on a computer on the Internet that other clients connect to and transfer data. Usually a peer does not have the complete file, but only parts of it, however, peer can be used to refer to any participant in the swarm (in this case, also known as a client). A health (or avaiability) the number of full copies of the file available to the client. Each seeder adds 1.0 to this number, as they have one complete copy of the file. A connected peer with a fraction of the file available adds that fraction to the availability, if no other peer has this part of the file. (ie. a peer with 65.3% of the file downloaded increases the availability by 0.653, when two peers who both have the same 50% of the file downloaded and there is one seeder the availability is 1.5)

Director Anthony Mann envisioned the story (which had previously inspired operas and plays) as a motion tapestry -- an ambition recognized in this version, which, like "Lawrence of Arabia" a few years back, revitalizes "El Cid's" striking visuals and the sweeping score by Miklos Rozsa.
"El Cid" is a film in which things happen either very quickly or very slowly, but always grandly -- the costumes are lavishly colorful, the sets spectacular, the crowds huge, the passions extreme. Within the first 10 minutes, Rodrigo has defeated and captured those Moors, pardoned them on a promise never to invade again (thus being dubbed El Cid, Moorish for "one who is both compassionate and a great warrior"), and continued on his journey to wed the luscious Chimene (Sophia Loren).

....I have strong suspicions that this "DVD9" is the fake one that's been floating around forever (which is an old 700mb rip, horrible quality, that somebody bloated up).

Using auto-play on the PC, this film plays in Spanish but with a progressive scan DVD player a menu appears allowing a choice of English as a secondary language.
I'm not sure why the progressive scan player is required. This disc will not play on a standard NTSC DVD player.

Can anyone comment on the quality of this ? the Video and audio there are rumors circulating about a bloated up version of a 750 mb rip having been converted into a 'full dvd 9' ? Is this the real deal and restored version of El Cid? or is this poor quality can someone pls. step up and comment?
Can someone else comment on the quality of this DVD 9 release pls. ? I don't wanna download it if the quality is crap. But if its the real deal id prefer it over a rip any day coz it ll have proper menus subtitles etc.
