A downloads is the number of how many times the torrent has been downloaded according to its tracker record
A seeder is a peer that has a complete copy of the torrent and still offers it for upload. The more seeders there are, the better the chances are for completion of the file
A leech is usually a peer who has a negative effect on the swarm by having a very poor share ratio - in other words, downloading much more than they upload. Most leeches are users on asymmetric internet connections who do not leave their BitTorrent client open to seed the file after their download has completed. However, some leeches intentionally avoid uploading by using modified clients or excessively limiting their upload speed. The term leech, however, can be used simply to describe a peer - or any client that does not have 100% of the data
A peer is one instance of a BitTorrent client running on a computer on the Internet that other clients connect to and transfer data. Usually a peer does not have the complete file, but only parts of it, however, peer can be used to refer to any participant in the swarm (in this case, also known as a client). Note that the colloquial definition of peer is anybody, leech or seed, involved in a torrent
A health (or avaiability) the number of full copies of the file available to the client. Each seeder adds 1.0 to this number, as they have one complete copy of the file. A connected peer with a fraction of the file available adds that fraction to the availability, if no other peer has this part of the file. (ie. a peer with 65.3% of the file downloaded increases the availability by 0.653, when two peers who both have the same 50% of the file downloaded and there is one seeder the availability is 1.5)

It was The Wanderers against the world... and the world never had a chance!
Set against the urban jungle of 1963 New York's gangland subculture, this coming of age teenage movie is set around the Italian gang the Wanderers. Slight comedy, slight High School angst and every bit entertaining with its classic 1950's Rock n' Roll soundtrack such as "Walk Like a Man", "Big Girls Don't Cry" by The Four Seasons and "My Boyfriend's Back" by The Angels. Focusing around a football game where the different gangs play with and against each other, then at its grand finale, come together in a mass of union to defend their honour and their turf. Nostalgic stuff and above all a Rock n' Roll retrospective on a grand musical era.

Just a quick question...this AC3 audio is already 192Kbps 2channel so...wouldn't it be better to covert it to MP3? ive heard that.... ( 192 AC3 audio is not that good...that once AC3 goes below 256, it loses it's greatness. )
Just a query as i thought of doing it before i put it on disc.
KNIGHTY...........

What is gspot?
Both these movies have only one audio signal (same in both sides) So there are L and R signals, but they are the same, hence, mono.
I checked against other movies, and on three media players (KMplayer, Win Media 10 and VLC) - same thing.
Okay thanks for your comments.
I didn't mean to criticise, I respect anyone who goes to the trouble to rip, encode and upload. I was just pointing out my observation.
Here is my wisdom, seeing as you asked. I recognise the difference between stereo and mono, and what these two movies have (raiders and wanderers) is called dual mono. Two signals merged together from stereo to form one single signal, which is then split to L and R. (Or, it's just taken one side L or R and used the one signal for both L and R) So yes, your rips have a stereo signal, but both sides are the same / summed mono. Sorry.
I suggest you look a little deeper into your encoding options, you might be missing a simple, but hidden setting which causes this? Both movies were released as stereo (I'm 100% sure Raiders should be entirely stereo) Wanderers is noted as stereo at IMDB although much of the soundtrack would be mono (tracks all from 1963 I believe)
It isn't an issue at my end, as I say I have plenty of movies which are stereo. Listen with some headphones on to Raiders - the score should certainly stereo. You can immediately tell it isn't. I even extracted the audio with virtualdub, the wavs for both sides are identical.
Do this test yourself (I have just done this). Open Raiders in virtualdub, or any prog that will allow you to export the Wav audio. Export a 30 sec piece of the audio. Now open that Wav in a Wav editing prog. The Wav will be stereo in that it has two signals L and R (even though they are the same) Now invert the phase of one of the two signals (usually find this option in effects - invert) Make sure they are both panned to centre and press play. You'll hear silence. This is because when two exact same audio signals are played together, but one has the inverted phase of the other - they cancel each other out resulting in silence. If the two signals were different, as would be the case with two stereo signals, you wouldn't get silence when you do this. Only the information which both signals share gets cancelled out - ie, anything panned to centre in the stereo image. This trick is often used to reduce vocals in a music track, as they usually sit bang in the centre.
Thanks for The Wanderers anyway - great movie. As I say, I'm not criticising, just making a comment. Please don't be offended.
