A connected peer with a fraction of the file available adds that fraction to the availability, if no other peer has this part of the file. (ie. a peer with 65.3% of the file downloaded increases the availability by 0.653, when two peers who both have the same 50% of the file downloaded and there is one seeder the availability is 1.5)

if loading a new serial torrent over an old one do not start
the torrent immediately on download
first in utorrent right click on the torrent select advanced
then select set download location
now browse to the directory of the previous serial torrent (in
the case of bleach its "[serial] bleach" ) select the directory
now back in utorrent stop the previous serial torrent and start
the new one
(both running at the same time WILL cause an error that will
stop them both until one of them is shut off and the other is
restarted)

i limit previous torrents to 1-3kB/s maximum and
the latest serial torrent has 75% of my upload bandwith set for
it at all times
and its the only seed i have set for high bandwith priority in
