hey DJCJ,you need to install winrar,then just double click one of the rar files and save to a specific folder,converts to avi in the process.basically the same as zip.easy once you`ve done it

To 'gordon29560', although not sure, it could be that ConvertXtoDVD is the prob. I've used it for quite a while now and only recently have had a few releases that go out of sync using it myself. They are fine in DivX format (AVI), but when converted to disc using ConvertXtoDVD, they go out of sync. Try using Nero or another proggy instead to see if that does the job

Ok, for those having sync issues after using ConvertXtoDVD to process an AVI to disc; NOTE: This will only work if the source AVI has NO sync issue. It will work if the AVI is perfectly in sync and then out of sync after ConvertXtoDVD processing. Obtain AVI-MUX GUI and add the AVI file to it (same as you do for ConvertXtoDVD). Next, highlight or click once on your added AVI, then click the bar under that saying "generate data source from files". When the results come back, you are looking only for 0 audio delay. If you have any other value there, click on the START button and choose an alternative name for your file. I recommend the same location, just add _fix.avi to the end of it. This new file should then run through ConvertXtoDVD without any problems on the output DVD. Hope it helps

Thanks to uploader. Perfect download. Audio:10. Video:10. No problems at all with synch issues. Played fine on VLC, and converted fine to DVD format using ConvertXtoDVD. So any synch problems are not due to the file itself, which is perfect.

Hotrats, you're right, the file itself is fine. It is only SOME version of ConvertXtoDVD that can cause the sync issue. Just pointing out to those that have had sync issue (they may be using a different version to you), it can be resolved using the method I mentioned above. If the AVI/source file is bugg3red, it won't work anyway
