    Mac users can open most files with the free program called &quot;Unarchiver&quot; (do a Google search). I then highly recommend you watch vids using the VLC player which will play just about any file you throw at it (after it's unstuffed with the Unarchiver that is). It, too, is free, and is the best player out there for Mac and Windoze users. The Unarchiver will open the .rar files into something you can play with VLC (.avi or otherwise). Goodluck!
