A downloads is the number of how many times the torrent has been downloaded according to its tracker record
A seeder is a peer that has a complete copy of the torrent and still offers it for upload. The more seeders there are, the better the chances are for completion of the file
A leech is usually a peer who has a negative effect on the swarm by having a very poor share ratio - in other words, downloading much more than they upload. Most leeches are users on asymmetric internet connections who do not leave their BitTorrent client open to seed the file after their download has completed. However, some leeches intentionally avoid uploading by using modified clients or excessively limiting their upload speed. The term leech, however, can be used simply to describe a peer - or any client that does not have 100% of the data
A peer is one instance of a BitTorrent client running on a computer on the Internet that other clients connect to and transfer data. Usually a peer does not have the complete file, but only parts of it, however, peer can be used to refer to any participant in the swarm (in this case, also known as a client). Note that the colloquial definition of peer is anybody, leech or seed, involved in a torrent
A health (or avaiability) the number of full copies of the file available to the client. Each seeder adds 1.0 to this number, as they have one complete copy of the file. A connected peer with a fraction of the file available adds that fraction to the availability, if no other peer has this part of the file. (ie. a peer with 65.3% of the file downloaded increases the availability by 0.653, when two peers who both have the same 50% of the file downloaded and there is one seeder the availability is 1.5)

Note: Unlike other torrent indexes we find more trackers for a torrent and put them sorted by seeders into the torrent upon every download. This should improve download speed. Extra trackers marked with '+' sign. If you have problems with this then let us know.
Personally I'll always wait for an axxo rip,coz quality is everything to me & this is tip top,BUT if you have been waiting to see this in full glory and ignored all to the 2bit cam versions like i have......perhaps you should wait a while longer, coz unless you speak french my brethen.....your xxxxxx(NO SUBTITLES) in french scenes !!!!!!!!

I think you also need to get Directvobsub and install that too. Anyway, do that and it should show up in windows media player. Should. I have not yet tried it, I'm still dl the avi file. I have no idea if these subs will be in the movie if you convert it to dvd.

I renamed both movies to TheDaVinciCode.avi and LuckyNumberSlevin.avi and it still gives me an error. But when I goto use another xvid copy of one I downloaded on IRC it works fine. I've never had this problem and am curious why it would do this only with his movies.Get ConvertX2DVD formerly Divx2DVD. MUCH better.aXXo is GOD.

No offense to anyone here but I've been trying for the better part of the day to try and burn this dvd w/ the subtitles, all in vain! And the worst part is, subtitles should already be in the movie regardless (in the parts where need be of course); they're part of the movie! the subtitles you have to d/l would only be an extra feature on the dvd. the movie itself should already have them on it!anyways, i'm just frustrated right now and i'm venting on here b/c maybe, just maybe, someone may come along who can actually help.just remember, i know how to add the subtitles on vlc player and make them work right, its just the whole converting them to dvd files (I use WinAVI) and then burning the dvd.....anyways, sorry if i've wasted your time.peace.Exactly what I wanted to say except I use ConvertXtoDVD. Please help!!!I also use ConvertX. In another movie, "The Triangle" - the subtitles came out (at the beginning) just fine in avi. Converting to DVD, they also came out fine if I played it on the computer DVD player. When I play it on the DVD with my TV (not computer) the subtitles are not there. Weird.

I use the program Avi2Dvd & an error happens and doesn't even start converting. It happened with this file & Fast & Furious: TD!! any help comments or advice would be appreciated.I use VSO ConvertXtoDVD and it has allowed me to convert all axxo's movies to DVD flawlessly.Same here. When I had the earlier version of VSO dvdx2dvd it did not work on a lot of files, and some of Axxo's too. The updated VSO works fine - and you do not have to change the file name as you do with avi2dvd. I had NO luck with avi2dvd. Uninstalled it ages ago.
About download speeds: I have never gotten over 100 kb per second on downloading torrents (with bit comet). Never. I have a fast computer, too, tho I see that doesn't matter. I also seed for days after I dl - only stopping IF there are storms here and powerouts happening - and then continue to seed for days. I notice when I seed, people are apparently getting it from me at very low kb unless I'm also downloading the file. .Right now, DaVinci is downloading at 49 and uploading at 80. Go figure. That's not supposed to happen. What do I know, heh.I know not much, but I know aXXo is - GOD.
I need some help. I'm not getting audio for this file. I have the newest DivX too. I've also downloaded Slither and City of Rott and haven't gotten sound. I have gotten sound with so many other axxo releases and I don't know what's up. Any advice people?

Direct show codecs such as those used by Windows Media Player are not suitable . Only direct stream copy is available for this video. Please help what do I do now.Thanks.
anyone found a subtitle file that actually works? i've downloaded the three (!?!) mentioned here, and they (a) all put green lines across the video, and (b) all have bio stuff about dan brown - NOT the subtitles for the movie. any help appreciated!

I agree AXXO does very well with his rips indeed..But we can do just as good and become great uploaders ourselves with a little program called Gordian knot,,I bet thats what he uses i about garuntee it.I have not found a program that rips dvds any better..No im not trying to sell you some product, this program is absolutly free..just google it!!Not trying to say almighty axxo cant deliver the goods he has proven himself on every occasion..just saying if you would like to up quality rips like axxo Gordian knot is garunteed pefection on almost every occasion..much love to my brother axxo for the upload!! Thanks!!
Hey guys... the subtitle files (French and Latin content) currently available are crap. Very poor translation - I should know, I'm bilingual (French, not Latin obviously). I've just been through the full English subtitle file and extracted out the subs that correspond to spoken French and Latin. I even took the liberty of improving some of the "official" French subbing. Don't believe for a minute that those subtitles you get on a DVD are perfect!OK, so just copy/paste the stuff into a text file, change the file extension to .SRT and name your file the same as the movie. If you don't know how to implement SRT subtitle files, you'll have to find out elsewhere... like with Google.Due to the 10,000 character limit on postings, the text is in the next post. The timing here corresponds to aXXo's rip, of course. If you don't see anything in the next post, either the system won't let me post, or the site administrator has nuked it.

OK... if that's too much of a drag, or if they got nuked... I just uploaded the subs to SubScene. You can get them here... http://subscene.com/65093/SubtitleFilm.aspx...Scroll down to "English" and then , in the comment column you'll see a line starting with "Subs for spo...".That's the one. These are currently the only subs that faithfully translate the French and Latin spoken parts.Enjoy!
FOR THOSE OF YOU STILL HAVING TROUBLE WITH SUB TITLE FILES...SRT files have to be in the same folder as the movie file (the AVI).__________________________________With Windows Media Player ... (average result)Click <Play\Captions and subtitles> and select <On if available>.Make sure the SRT file has exactly the same name as the AVI file and that it's in the same folder.WMP will display the subs in shadowed white characters inside the image.__________________________________With BS Player … (excellent result)Use BSplayer (www.bsplayer.org) – there's a free version but which is unfortunately adware supported. However, there are ways of getting around that… like getting BSplayer Pro with a handy little help exe. Here the name of the SRT file doesn't make any difference. In fact the best way to do it is to give the file the same name as the movie , but add in an extra bit. BSplayer will automatically recognize such a file and if there are several, will play first the one that is alphanumerically the highest up the list.So suppose you have SRT files for English, French and Spanish. You name these files:Nameofmovie ENG.srtNameofmovie FRA.srtNameofmovie ESP.srtBSplayer will actually display the English because that is alphabetically the first one. In BSplayer you can load other SRT files at any time and therefore change the sub language. The main appeal of BSplayer is that you can customize the color, size, font style and position of the text. The text is crystal clear (choose Arial) and you can get it down into the black area on your screen. Add a nice light yellow hue for visual comfort, and you're away.BTW, BSplayer has a graphic equalizer that works well.__________________________________With a DivX/Mpeg-4 compatible DVD player…Latest firmware manages SRT files. For several languages, name your files as followsnameofmovie.1.srtnameofmovie.2.srtnameofmovie.3.srtetc.If you've got just one language file burnt on your CD, you don't need the .1 in front of .srt, but it won't hurt.Use the Subtitle button on your remote to switch between languages or shut them off.__________________________________With RealPlayerName the file nameofmovie.srt or nameofmovie.1.srt and RealPlayer will display the subs more or less in the same way as WMP._________________________________Don't ask me about embedding subs when burning to DVD. Why anyone still bothers with VCD and VOB conversion is a mystery to me. You can get DivX compatible set-top players for $25 these days. You'd save money pretty soon compared with burning DVD's.The other deal… hook up your computer to your HD-ready TV. Come on guys, get wise!
when i put this movie on disc i get a blurry line right along the bottom of my screen! does anyone know how to stop this? i use nero 7 premium to burn.(damn shame really as axxo's movies are of the highest calibre)
I know this sounds stupid, but does someone know another site other than http://rapidshare.de/files/32856093/The.Da.Vinci.Code_2006_DvDrip.srt.html. with good subtitles on it.cos i can't seem to download from this one. would really appreciate some help.thanks
